Meet Yenisbel Rodriguez, LCSW
Psychotherapist | Attachment, Relationships, Sexuality & Self-Discovery
For me, therapy is deeply human. I believe healing begins when we become curious about ourselves—when we have the courage to look honestly at the experiences that shaped us, the patterns we repeat, and the parts of ourselves we may have learned to silence, hide, or leave behind. My style is warm, curious, direct, and engaged, drawing from attachment-based and relational therapy, trauma-informed care, inner child work, ACT, CBT, and body-based awareness. At the heart of my work is the belief that greater self-awareness can lead to greater consciousness and presence, while self-acceptance creates the foundation for genuine self-worth. Healing is not about rejecting the parts of ourselves we wish were different, but understanding and integrating them so we can move through life and relationships with greater wholeness, authenticity, and choice.
My professional journey began long before I became a therapist. For more than twenty years, I worked as a court-certified interpreter in legal, medical, and forensic settings, sitting alongside people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Those experiences gave me a deep respect for the complexity of our stories and the importance of truly listening. Today, I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy in English and Spanish, and I am completing advanced training in sex therapy and kink-aware clinical practice. I am endlessly curious about what makes us human—why we love the way we love, why we repeat what hurts us, and what becomes possible when we begin living with greater awareness. My role is not to tell you who you should become, but to walk alongside you as you discover more fully who you already are.
P.S.: I am also a photographer and all images here are original work of your therapist.
